Operational Technology Manager
Location: Radnor, PA (Airgas HO) – Management – AMG-Corp Houston, TX (HO) – Management – AMG-Production
Responsibilities
Serve as program leader and SME for OT Cybersecurity program, virtualization program, network infrastructure improvements, Enterprise Historian (PI) program.
Act as OT Cybersecurity Protection Coordinator (OPC) ensuring compliance with Group Policies on OT Digital Security.
Manage Airgas Merchant Gases Local OT Protection Coordinators (LOPCs).
Define OT architecture and standards for production plant to comply with Group and Hub Standards.
Maintain safety, reliability, regulatory compliance as highest priority.
Work with field personnel, controls, IT, contractors to troubleshoot OT systems.
Develop, test, implement, maintain operational technologies solutions in collaboration with controls, site and IT teams.
Define standard builds for controls system hardware/software including virtualization solutions.
Maintain process data historian (Osisoft PI), update points, monitor health, maintain communications to control systems.
Monitor vendor updates, plan upgrades, maintain antivirus solution.
Implement modifications to comply with global process, Airgas/Al group standards, equipment, safety standards.
Manage new local OT projects to integrate new OT technology to improve efficiency and reliability with IT, controls, plant teams.
Train personnel on OT topics, production supervisors, engineers, remote ops support staff on OT solutions & cybersecurity.
Follow Management of Change, Process Hazard Analysis, cybersecurity policies, OT best practices and maintain equipment configurations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer, chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
10 years experience with computer systems concepts (cybersecurity, networking, OS, network security, system admin, database management, programming).
3+ years experience with OT systems such as PLC/DCS, networking equipment; experience with Allen Bradley, Delta V, Modicon, Wonderware, Siemens, OSISoft PI is a plus.

Quick learning of new processes/technologies such as air separation plants, CO2 plants, vacuum swing adsorption units and new control systems technologies.

Proficiency with MS Office, GSuite.
Analyze data and develop solutions.
Analyze technical problems, evaluate alternatives, identify optimal solutions.
Flexible to support operations with 24/7 availability for problem resolution.
Hands‑on position requiring overnight travel to Airgas operating facilities.
