Director, HCP Marketing, Petosemtamab (Head & Neck Oncology)
The Director, HCP Marketing, Petosemtamab (Head & Neck Oncology) will design and execute the HCP experience launch plans including the brand's first launch in HNSCC. This critical role will report directly into the Senior Director, US Marketing, Petosemtamab, and will be expected to work closely with the Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC) Consumer Marketing & Digital/Omnichannel teams. He/she will own the Physician experience strategy for Petosemtamab HNSCC and be an important contributor to the overall product marketing, extended launch teams, and annual brand planning process.
The Director, Petosemtamab HNSCC marketing will have the opportunity to shape and implement the strategy for this important launch. Success in this role will require a collaborative mindset, recent launch experience, and a proven track record operating in an emerging/developing organization.
Work arrangement: This role offers flexibility to work away from the office for 20%–40% of a typical schedule. Employees may use this work schedule in increments of single days or multiple consecutive days, provided it does not exceed 40% within a 60-day period, and is approved by the hiring manager.
Responsibilities
Serve as the resident brand team expert on current and evolving trends in the HNSCC oncology marketplace and leverage opportunities related to HCP, institution, and key accounts in oncology to drive overall brand success
Establish and pull through the brand strategic vision set by Genmab leadership
Seamlessly integrate professional promotion strategies into the overall product brand plan
Lead professional promotion strategy aligned to brand strategic imperatives
Define customer engagement priorities and promotional objectives
Develop HCP positioning, messaging, and campaign direction
Identify engagement opportunities across customer segments
Partner with medical, market access, advocacy, and sales to ensure aligned engagement strategies
Manage detailed tactical plans and develop related content to drive brand goals
Collaborate to provide critical input into HCP/Key Acct Institution profiles, targeting and segmentation
Manage external agencies including creative, media, and medical communications • Oversee Brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI optimization • Lead vendor selection, contract management, and performance evaluation
Partner with HNSCC Consumer Marketing and Digital Marketing to develop and implement cohesive brand campaign, creative, positioning and messaging, etc.
Effectively translate primary & secondary data into insight-driven decision making and actionable strategies and tactics
Track and provide weekly key performance indicator reports
Represent brand during Medical/Legal/Regulatory review meetings to ensure launch readiness
Work effectively with Genmab sales leadership (and commercial led advisory boards), and other relevant Genmab functions
Work productively to lead through external agency partners, key internal stakeholders, and cross functional groups within Genmab
Drive engagement and partnerships with relevant professional societies and marketing advisory boards
Manage project timelines, budgets and all key deliverables aligned to effective launch readiness
Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required (MBA preferred)
Minimum of 10 years of progressive responsibilities within oncology marketing, sales and agency leadership
Ability to travel domestically up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications
Masters Degree
Deep understanding of HCP, Key acct, and GPO marketing concepts within pharma/biotech
Recent oncology solid tumor and/or HNSCC specific launch experience
Experience working in the highly complex, dynamic environment of an emerging organization
Ability to work cross-functionally and on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to thrive in ambiguity, with an entrepreneurial mind-set and a track record of results
Resourceful, decisive and proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization
Strong communication and presentation skills
Startup, emerging pharma, or new team experience desired
For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:
$205,632.00---$308,448.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
