Job Description
Stafkings is seeking a committed, motivated and detail-oriented individual to assume the role of a Technical Writer responsible for all aspects of creating technical documentation (technical manuals and training guides) for a variety of complex equipment.

Responsibilities

Develop simplified theory of operation and block diagrams for electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.

Develop fault isolation and troubleshooting procedures for electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.

Write repair procedures.

Write removal and installation procedures.

Work with graphic arts personnel in support of the publication effort.

Work with desktop publishing personnel in support of the publication effort.

Interface with customer engineering personnel to work out solutions to problems.

Qualifications

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematic diagrams.

Skilled with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Access.

Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
