Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing team of Product Designers through coaching and career development.

Drive product‑design hiring strategy, interview processes, and organizational growth initiatives.

Establish and refine design processes across product discovery, validation, and product delivery.

Evolve the design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and exceptional user experiences across the platform.

Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to shape product vision and long‑term UX strategy.

Conduct user research and leverage customer insights to improve workflows, onboarding, and product usability.

Guide teams through design exploration, prototyping, validation, and iterative product development.

Balance user needs, design excellence, technical feasibility, and business priorities when making strategic product decisions.

Foster a collaborative design culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Help define how millions of users build software through AI‑powered visual development experiences.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of product design experience solving complex UX challenges within SaaS or technology companies.

5+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and scaling high‑performing product design teams.

Experience working within Product‑Led Growth (PLG) SaaS organizations.

Proven success recruiting, developing, and retaining world‑class design talent.

Deep expertise in user research, interaction design, product discovery, and design systems.

Experience establishing scalable design processes that support rapid product development and iteration.

Strong ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints when making product decisions.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience designing AI‑powered products or no‑code/low‑code development platforms.

Experience scaling design organizations within high‑growth startup environments.

Strong understanding of developer tools, SaaS platforms, or productivity software.

Experience partnering closely with executive leadership on product vision and strategy.

Passion for coaching and developing future design leaders.

Strong understanding of experimentation, usability testing, and customer research methodologies.

Strategic mindset with the ability to influence organizational priorities across multiple stakeholders.
