Truck Yard Job Description: Sound Technician
We’re looking for restaurant professionals that can handle a fast-paced, high-volume service environment while making every customer feel relaxed and welcome.

Responsibilities

Communicate with staff and performers to determine the sound requirements.

Set up and mic bands.

Run sound for live entertainment.

Assess acoustics of the performance area and make adjustments as needed.

Monitor for bad weather and ensure bands are set up in a safe environment.

Anticipate and correct any faults related to the audio setup.

Break down and secure all Truck Yard sound equipment.

Clean/organize both stage and equipment.

Maintain all equipment in working order.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge of and ability to set up sound equipment in a timely fashion.

Attention to detail to make sure sound is at an optimal level for all shows.

Ability to multitask.

Must have reliable transportation.

Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Additional Information

Truck Yard does not permit any employee to consume alcohol at any Brain Storm Shelter Restaurant location, whether on- or off-duty.

All employees are required to follow all local and state laws regarding the sale & service of alcohol.

Employees are expected to wash their hands frequently during shifts and after all breaks.

All employees must practice good personal hygiene to prevent food borne illnesses & create a clean working environment.

Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion. Position requires working a full shift on your feet.

Position requires occasional physical contact with guests.

Position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Position may require work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operation of phones, computers and other office equipment.
