Morrison Foerster, a leading Am Law 38 firm, is seeking a Senior Director of Communications and Brand to lead the development and execution of the global communications and brand strategy.
Partnering closely with firm leadership and key stakeholders, the Senior Director will oversee integrated communications, content strategy, thought leadership, public relations, and brand management initiatives that elevate the firm's visibility, strengthen its reputation, and enhance its market differentiation. The role also leads a high-performing team responsible for delivering innovative, high-impact communications and strategic initiatives across the firm.
The role in action:
Shape and execute the firm's global brand and communications strategy, advance brand positioning, market visibility, and strategic communications priorities.
Advise firm leadership on strategic messaging, media strategy, and reputational matters.
Direct content, thought leadership, digital strategy, and integrated campaigns that amplify the firm's visibility and market position.
Oversee brand standards, creative direction, and messaging consistency across marketing, business development, recruiting, and internal initiatives.
Build and lead a high-performing communications and brand function, fostering cross-functional collaboration, operational excellence, resource management, and measurable impact.
We are seeking candidates who:
Bring 15+ years of experience in communications, branding, public relations, or marketing or other professional services settings; law firm experience preferred.
Hold a bachelor's degree in a related field.
Combine exceptional leadership, executive presence, and strong business acumen with a proven track record of leading complex brand, communications, and public relations initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders, and leveraging data-driven insights in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
