1. Organizational Background
Higher Heights for America is the political home for Black women. We are a national organization dedicated to building the political power, leadership, and influence of Black women in elected office and civic life. Through research, advocacy, and strategic communications, Higher Heights works to elevate Black women’s voices and ensure their leadership is visible, respected, and supported.

A core part of our public engagement strategy is high‑quality digital programming that reaches national audiences, mobilizes supporters, and uplifts Black women leaders.

2. Program Overview
Sunday Brunch with Higher Heights is our flagship weekly livestream show. The program features timely political analysis, conversations with elected officials and candidates, cultural commentary, and community engagement centered on Black women’s leadership and political power.

In addition to Sunday Brunch, Higher Heights produces:

Candidate forums and conversations

Policy briefings and research releases

Special election night coverage

Virtual town halls and panel discussions

Donor briefings and internal convenings

Training sessions

We are seeking an experienced livestream production partner to support Sunday Brunch and other live virtual productions on an ongoing basis. These additional productions are expected 1–2 times per quarter, with frequency increasing as the midterm elections approach.

3. Scope of Work

Technical planning and run‑of‑show coordination

Platform setup and testing (Zoom, StreamYard, Riverside, Restream, or similar)

Speaker and guest tech checks

Audio, lighting, and camera guidance for remote guests

Graphic integration planning (lower thirds, title cards, transitions)

Live production: live switching and show direction, audio mixing and monitoring, management of on‑screen graphics and branding elements

Integration of pre‑recorded video assets

Monitoring livestream quality and audience experience

Real‑time troubleshooting and technical support

Delivery of full program recordings

Editing of clips for social media and digital distribution

Captioning and accessibility support

Archiving and file management

4. Technical Requirements

Experience with weekly livestream productions

Experience with multi‑speaker remote broadcasts

Integration with major social platforms (YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn)

High‑quality audio and video standards

Redundant systems and backup plans

Accessibility best practices (closed captioning, visual clarity)

Additional qualifications:

Demonstrated experience producing livestreams for advocacy, nonprofit, or political organizations

Ability to manage live broadcasts with senior leaders, elected officials, and high‑profile guests

Strong project management and communication skills

Commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and production excellence

Familiarity with culturally competent storytelling and Black‑led organizations is strongly preferred

Deliverables

Weekly livestream production for Sunday Brunch with Higher Heights

Edited video clips for digital and social use

Event recordings delivered within agreed timelines

Technical run‑of‑show documentation

Ongoing production support for additional virtual events as scheduled

Support interactive elements, including Q&A or polling as needed

7. Measures of Success

High quality: deliver livestreams without technical issues, maintain stable video and audio, seamless streaming, smooth transitions, and proper platform integration.

Timeliness: on‑time and available throughout setup, rehearsal, and production.

Responsiveness: address technical issues promptly with effective solutions.

Post‑Event Deliverables: provide timely delivery of post‑event content, including full recordings, segments, and other assets.

9. Diversity, Equity, and Values Alignment
Higher Heights is committed to equity, representation, and the leadership of Black women. We strongly encourage proposals from video professionals who share these values and who have experience telling stories rooted in community, dignity, and cultural competence.

Proposals may include a brief statement describing:

Experience working with diverse or underrepresented communities

Approach to values‑aligned and culturally responsive storytelling

10. Election Year and Surge Period Support
During election cycles and major political moments, Higher Heights may require expanded livestream production support beyond regularly scheduled programming. Surge‑period work may include:

Candidate forums, endorsements, and announcement events

Rapid‑response livestreams tied to breaking news or political developments

Election night coverage and real‑time analysis programs

High‑urgency virtual briefings or town halls

Proposals should describe the vendor’s ability to scale production support, accommodate accelerated timelines, and maintain broadcast‑quality standards during high‑stakes, time‑sensitive events.
