Production Technician

Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Production Technician.

Production Technician Job Details
Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (schedule to be confirmed)
Pay Rate:

$20.00 per hour
Location : Dayton, OH
Overtime : Saturdays as needed
Production Technician Requirements/Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred

Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift

Experience operating forklifts; forklift certification preferred

Ability to safely use pneumatic tools and other hand tools

Basic welding experience preferred

Ability to read and interpret basic product drawings

Comfortable working at heights and around industrial equipment

Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork

Ability to follow written procedures and company policies

Ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

About the Production Technician Role
As a Production Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Operating manufacturing equipment and production machinery safely and efficiently

Mixing raw materials used to produce castable refractory products

Forming, finishing, inspecting, and packaging finished products while maintaining quality standards

Operating forklifts to transport materials and finished products throughout the facility

Safely using pneumatic tools, hand tools, and other industrial equipment

Performing basic welding tasks as needed

Operating jib and overhead cranes to safely move materials and products

Performing routine maintenance on production equipment

Maintaining accurate production standards and following quality procedures

Participating in daily safety and Tier 1 production meetings

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment

Following all safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
