Program Manager, Design (Global Brand Design) TEAM: Brand Creative Studio | FOCUS AREA: Global Brand Design.
About the role: We are seeking a Manager, Program Management – Design to join the team responsible for program and operational management for the Brand Creative Studio’s Global Brand Design team. The primary focus is to build, run, and continuously improve the systems that allow core design programs to move from strategy to execution across a complex set of stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities Build and run core design program pipelines; own the end-to-end operational pipeline for core design programs, spanning annual planning through tactical delivery and rollout.
Drive clear intake, scoping, prioritization, and sequencing across multiple concurrent programs, ensuring strong foundations with defined objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and decision‑making structures.
Lead problem‑solving when work goes off‑course, ensuring issues are addressed quickly without compromising quality.
Create operational clarity across complexity by translating business priorities into actionable roadmaps and delivery plans.
Establish program rhythms and stakeholder cadences that create momentum and reduce ambiguity.
Maintain consistent visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs across the portfolio.
Build integrated project plans including milestones, dependencies, review cycles, and launch readiness requirements.
Drive alignment on scope, sequencing, and delivery expectations across internal teams and external partners.
Enable high‑quality delivery at scale by protecting design bandwidth and ensuring work is appropriately scoped and resourced before execution.
Partner with design leadership and resource management to align resourcing, identify gaps, and propose solutions.
Ensure programs scale across markets, formats, and teams without adding operational burden.
Anticipate bottlenecks and delivery risks early and proactively propose solutions and trade‑offs.
Maintain program tracking across multiple workstreams, ensuring clarity on owners, deadlines, and next steps.
Create leadership‑ready reporting that communicates progress, risks, and trade‑offs clearly and consistently.
Support execution readiness and rollout coordination, ensuring design deliverables integrate into broader go‑to‑market plans and timelines.
Coordinate review cycles, approvals, and handoffs across internal, external, and agency partners.
Track delivery of required assets, ensuring they are reviewed, approved, and delivered on time.
Provide downstream teams with needed guidelines, toolkits, templates, specs, and delivery packages.
Serve as liaison between design and partner teams to keep expectations, timelines, and requirements aligned.
Strengthen cross‑functional collaboration by improving clarity, handoffs, and program rhythms.
What We Are Looking For 7‑10+ years of experience managing complex programs in fast‑paced consumer, entertainment, design‑focused, or technology environments.
Proven end‑to‑end program management for creative and design teams, covering planning, prioritization, tracking, and delivery.
Strong operational judgment and the ability to create clarity in ambiguity.
Deep familiarity with design work development, review, and delivery across multi‑format ecosystems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, conveying progress, risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs to senior stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and analytical problem‑solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and drive alignment across cross‑functional teams, including internal and external partners.
Experience with program management tools and collaborative workflows, and ability to implement scalable systems.
A proactive, humble, and highly accountable working style with a strong bias to action.
Operational/program management experience within a design studio or agency environment is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, showcase intellectual curiosity, and demonstrate strong judgment in ambiguity.
Understanding, advocacy for, and embodiment of Netflix’s values and team goals.
Compensation Annual salary only, with the option to allocate compensation between salary and stock options. Compensation range for this role: $220,000.00 – $352,000.00.
