The Social Media Internship at Butterfly Pavilion is an opportunity to develop real-world skills in social media planning and execution, creative and trending content development, and project management at a nonprofit achieving global impact in invertebrate research, conservation, and education.
The intern will be responsible for developing content for social media to engage users and create a relationship between the community and Butterfly Pavilion’s mission. They will also be responsible for planning content calendars, drafting compelling captions, creating content through video and photo editing, and assisting the marketing team with other social campaigns. The intern will report directly to the organization’s Marketing and Communications Coordinator and will have the opportunity to collaborate with individuals in multiple departments to achieve project goals.
Commitment
This internship runs from August 11th, 2026 to December 4th, 2026.
Must complete 180 hours over the course of the internship, typically following a schedule of 20‑24 hours per week.
Must be available for orientation at Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, Colorado on August 11th, 2026.
Must be available for presentation of project at Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, Colorado on December 2nd, 2026.
