Position Summary
Reliability Trainer (Electrical) – Responsible for technical capability development for reliability and operations teams, ensuring site employees have required skills. Manages site training plan, training materials, and supports plant-wide training initiatives.

Internal: Platform Teams, Reliability Team, Mill Leadership Team, CI & Capabilities Team, Logistics, Engineering Teams
Regional: Supply Chain Manufacturing Operations Support Team, Supply Chain Value Stream, other KCNA Supply Chain Teams, peers from other Kimberly‑Clark Facilities, partners and vendors
Role Scope
Day shift 5 days/week; overtime per normal process; travel may be required. Works with platform teams across operations, engineering, and maintenance to deliver technical training aligned with plant and KCNA Reliability and T4E Strategies. Reports to Reliability Manager.
Principal Accountabilities
Achieve objectives/goals aligned to facility/asset(s) (SQDCP)
Owner of site Maintenance & Reliability capability matrix and training plan
Extend or modify hours during workshop or high training volume weeks
Key contact for training materials and related questions
Update documentation for technical training on a routine basis
Facilitate site meetings and governance processes related to Maintenance & Reliability training
Plan training with site scheduling for maximum effectiveness
Manage Reliability new hire onboarding plan and documentation
Key contact for training plans developed for projects at the site for Maintenance & Reliability
Lead continuous improvement of facility training materials; support T4E strategy
Provide technical and OJT training to technicians, apprentices, and other in‑house positions
Deliver demonstrations in shops and/or production floor
Mentor and work 1:1 with apprentices or other positions to address learning gaps/issues
Identify additional training opportunities with maintenance technicians
Coordinate and organize in‑house, vendor, and local trade school training classes/sessions
Provide off‑hour support based on escalation, including phone calls and in‑person support as needed

Qualifications
Associate’s degree in electrical/electronic technology
5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
Basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude, good math skills
Must pass pre‑employment assessment, drug and background screening, Physical Abilities Test (PAT)
Experience/knowledge/training in the principal accountabilities listed
Internal Applicant Requirements
No Performance Improvement Plan, no written warning (Level2) within the year prior to posting expiration
Minimum 5 years Kimberly‑Clark maintenance experience as an electrical technician
Computer assessment required, scheduled with GPO team
Not eligible for sign‑on bonus
