Role Overview
Associate Photographers are the talented and versatile team responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Equipped with a Pro 3 Matterport, digital camera equipment and iPad, they create virtual tours, floorplans, and photography for residential homes. Each photographer is assigned a core territory and schedules appointments to scan homes and apartments, capture virtual tours, floor plans, and residential photography for marketing purposes.

Responsibilities

Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3‑D virtual tours and footprints.

Create a portfolio of photographs that best feature homes and apartments using photography techniques to highlight the spaces.

Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.

Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.

While not scanning a residential home, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage, identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to be photographed.

Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment and represent CoStar in a professional manner.

Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Physical Requirements
Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day. Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds. Repetitive hand and arm movements for typing on a tablet or laptop and operating camera equipment. Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying. Ability to work and drive outdoors in all seasons, including weekends on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of professional experience and a track record of commitment to prior employers.

Real estate photography experience required; experience as a professional photographer or a recently earned degree in photography.

High School Diploma or GED.

Strong customer service experience with a client‑first mindset.

Drone photographer with an FAA Part 107 License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.

Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail.

Ability to capture and enter data accurately.

Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.

Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and internet applications, plus Apple iOS products.

Preference for field experience and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Valid driver’s license; satisfactory driving record required.

Compensation
Base salary: $49,000 – $50,000 annually. Compensation will be determined based on location, skills, and experience.
