Role
Associate Photographers are responsible for capturing media for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Using a Pro 3 Matterport camera, digital cameras, and iPad, they create virtual tours, floorplans, and photography for residential homes and apartments. Each photographer serves a core territory, works with scheduled appointments, and collaborates closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and management.

Responsibilities

Capture 3‑D virtual tours and footprints using Matterport Pro3 cameras.

Create high‑quality photographs that showcase homes and apartments.

Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments.

Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management.

Complete residential photography for marketing purposes.

Navigate one‑mile grids to ensure comprehensive commercial real‑estate data coverage and identify new inventory.

Adhere to CoStar safety standards protecting vehicle and equipment.

Represent CoStar professionally at all times.

Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.

Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting, standing, walking up to 8 hours per day; lift up to 5 pounds.

Perform repetitive hand and arm movements typing or operating camera equipment.

Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, and twisting.

Ability to work outdoors during all seasons and on rotating weekend schedules.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of professional photography experience.

Track record of commitment to prior employers.

Real estate photography experience required; recent degree in photography acceptable.

High School Diploma or GED.

Strong customer‑service mindset.

FAA Part 107 license/certification within 30 days of offer; experienced drone photographer.

Excellent time‑management, detail orientation, and data capture skills.

Strong oral and written communication, organizational skills.

Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet applications; Apple iOS products also required.

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Field experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license; satisfactory driving record before start.

Compensation
$49,000 - $50,000 hourly based on location, skills, and experience.
