Transmission Engineer

Role Summary
This engineer leads the design and engineering of complex transmission projects with minimal supervision. The role requires independent judgment, collaboration with project teams and external partners, and the ability to develop technical solutions, reports, and project documents.

Core Responsibilities

Lead engineering and design for transmission projects.

Perform engineering analyses, studies, and conceptual designs.

Prepare technical documents, specifications, and reports.

Review consultant work, drawings, and project proposals.

Support construction, restoration planning, and emergency response.

Apply applicable codes, regulations, and standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

3 years of engineering and design experience.

Preferred

Transmission line experience, ideally 115 kV to 500 kV.

Familiarity with GO 95, NESC, PLS-CADD, PLS-POLEand transmission line standards.

Experience with GO 95 and PLS-POLE.
