Position Specific Description
We are seeking a highly technical and entrepreneurial

Lead AI Strategist

to design, build, and scale data and analytics solutions that power front‑office trading, risk management, and operational workflows. This role sits at the intersection of

AI development ,

trading, data engineering, and quantitative analytics , enabling accurate, high‑quality data flows and real‑time insights across the organization.

The ideal candidate will partner directly with traders and business stakeholders to deliver

low‑latency, scalable, and high‑impact solutions , while modernizing legacy processes and reducing reliance on manual Excel‑driven workflows. Experience developing applications using low‑code
o‑code platforms and AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Codex, Devin, Windsurf) is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
AI Development

Design, develop, and deploy AI‑powered applications, agents, and workflow automations that solve business problems and improve operational efficiency.

Leverage AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Codex, Windsurf, Copilot) to accelerate software development, testing, and deployment.

Build and integrate APIs, databases, LLMs, vector stores, and enterprise systems to create scalable AI solutions.

Develop and maintain data pipelines, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) solutions, and agentic workflows using structured and unstructured data sources.

Data Engineering & Platform Development

Design, build, and maintain

ETL/ELT pipelines

supporting trade, position, and market data ingestion and transformation.

Develop robust data models and pipelines ensuring

data accuracy, timeliness, and consistency

across trading systems.

Perform

data mapping, cleansing, normalization, and transformation

using SQL‑based solutions.

Implement monitoring and controls to ensure

high data quality and reliability .

System Integration

Integrate

front‑office trading systems

with mid‑and back‑office platforms (risk, settlements, finance).

Enable seamless flow of data across deal capture, position tracking, P&L, and reporting systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies across systems.

Market Data Management

Manage

market data subscriptions, ingestion, and vendor integrations .

Ensure completeness, accuracy, and availability of real‑time and historical market data.

Establish data validation and reconciliation processes.

Analytics, Reporting & Visualization

Develop dashboards and reporting for:

P&L and attribution

Position and exposure monitoring

Risk metrics and performance tracking

Support business users with

self‑service reporting capabilities

using modern BI tools.

Quantitative Support & Trading Enablement

Partner with traders to:

Develop and backtest trading strategies

Analyze historical and forward market data

Optimize market entry/exit signals

Build lightweight models to support

pricing, risk assessment, and scenario analysis .

Automation & Tooling

Design and deploy

lightweight, headless applications

to automate manual processes currently performed in Excel.

Leverage

low‑code / no‑code platforms (e.g., Codex, Windsurf)

to rapidly develop and deploy solutions.

Improve operational efficiency through automation of:

Trade reconciliation

Reporting workflows

Data ingestion and validation

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a

trusted partner to front‑office trading teams .

Build strong relationships and proactively identify opportunities to deliver value.

Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

The Ideal Candidate will have

Bachelor’s degree in

Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field

Strong experience building and maintaining

ETL pipelines and data platforms

Proficiency with: Python (data manipulation, automation, scripting) and SQL (data extraction, transformation, and optimization)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in

power, gas, or commodities trading environments

Familiarity with

low‑code
o‑code solutions (Codex, Windsurf, or similar)

Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Exposure to

quantitative modeling, backtesting, and statistical analysis

Knowledge of

regulatory reporting and compliance data requirements

Required Qualifications
