The Production Graphic Designer Contractor will assist the NB Global Creative Studio team with production of global and regional digital marketing kits. This teammate must be an organized, dependable individual who is great at collaboration, communication, and needs to be able to multi-task overlapping projects while staying on deadlines. The candidate will be taking creative direction & feedback often, from several teammates, quick and efficient turnaround will be expected. Ideal candidate would be creative, flexible, self-directed and a problem solver with attention to detail, used to working in a busy design department. Friendliness, no ego, and grace under pressure are soft skills that are a must for this position.
This is a temporary 6-month contract position. The individual in this role will work a hybrid schedule, with three days per week on-site at our headquarters in Brighton, MA (Tuesday through Thursday) and two days per week remotely.
Major responsibilities include:
Executing a variety of creative projects under the direction of Lead Designers, Team Manager, or the Creative Director.
Handling several projects at a time and keeping the Lead Designer & Global Ops Coordinator informed of any issues that may arise. Keeping a high level of creative output while holding to deadlines is a must.
Requirements for success include:
Bachelor degree in design, 2+ years work experience creating and designing special projects. Proven knowledge and success in working across a variety of formats.
In addition to design, typical duties include routing creative for approvals, following up often to keep deadlines on track, preparing, and uploading final working files to our DAM system.
Advanced knowledge of Figma, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
Prior experience working in a project workflow management app such as Asana or ProWorkflow is preferred.
The Production Graphic Designer candidate will get direction from a Lead Designer and does not have the authority to make decisions on artwork. Keeping consistent with Brand Guidelines is a must. Any artwork created during their time at New Balance is property of New Balance.
