ETF/SMA National Accounts Manager

As support for our affiliate, CresAlta Investment Management, AMG National Trust is seeking an experienced ETF/SMA National Accounts Manager to lead and expand firm‑wide relationships with national and regional broker‑dealers, RIA platforms, wirehouses, and model marketplaces. This role is critical to scaling distribution for a growing ETF platform and will serve as the primary point of contact for asset‑gathering partners nationwide.
The ideal candidate brings strong ETF distribution experience, established platform relationships, and the ability to work collaboratively across sales, portfolio management, compliance, and marketing in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities Own and manage strategic relationships with national and regional broker‑dealers, RIA custodians, model platforms, and home offices
Drive ETF platform approvals, due diligence submissions, and product placements (SMAs, models, UMAs, ETFs)
Partner with external wholesalers and internal sales leadership to align national account strategy with regional execution
Develop and execute asset‑growth strategies for firm ETFs across approved platforms
Serve as lead contact for home office investment, product, and compliance teams
Track and report asset flows, platform penetration, pipeline activity, and strategic initiatives
Collaborate on product positioning, platform‑specific marketing, and advisor education initiatives
Attend industry conferences, platform due‑diligence meetings, and key partner events
Maintain deep understanding of ETF markets, competitive landscape, and distribution trends
Qualifications & Experience 7–12+ years in asset management sales, ETF distribution, or national accounts
Direct experience working with broker‑dealer or RIA platforms (wirehouse, independent BD, bank, or RIA custodial platforms)
Demonstrated success driving ETF approvals and asset growth
Strong existing national account relationships preferred
Deep understanding of ETFs, portfolio construction, and advisor use cases
Excellent communication, strategic planning, and relationship‑management skills
Series 7 and 63 required; 65 or 66 preferred (or ability to obtain)
