Blended Strategy Group is hiring: Account Coordinator, Public Relations in Los A

For the role of Account Coordinator, Public Relations , BSG is seeking a unique and driven candidate with a PR/communications background, strategic mindset and strong organizational skills to support a dynamic public relations team with clients across the beauty, lifestyle and food & beverage categories. The right person will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience (preferably agency) at a junior/assistant level within a public relations team.

Location: Seeking a Los Angeles-based candidate

Qualifications & Key Responsibilities include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/PR, Journalism, or related field

Media and social savvy with specific experience in supporting the development and execution of PR strategy, including traditional media relations and celebrity & influencer-led earned media programs

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Media relations including media monitoring, press clipping, competitor press analysis, media & creator relationship building and maintenance, sample management, PR tactic (events, mailers, deskside etc.) ideation and execution support

Client account admin, including databases, press reports and budget management support

Strong Microsoft Office suite and industry software (Cision, Meltwater, Klear) skills

Extremely detailed oriented

Willingness to “roll up sleeves” and execute programs from start to finish

The expected base salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000. Various factors, including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget determine the exact base salary.
