As a Front End Engineer Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the MPO customer. You will play a crucial role in enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current interface as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.

Responsibilities

Support a high‑performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished products.

Collaborate with top tier teams.

Drive 508 accessibility of the current interface as well as redevelop a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Experience: 5+ years of related experience

Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required

US citizenship required

Required Technical skills:

Java8+

Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications

GWT

Primefaces

Quarkus

Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Additional desired technical skills may include experience with:

Proficiency with screen readers

508/WAI‑ARIA knowledge

Oracle

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Agency reporting and dissemination tools

Agency classification policies

Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence

Salary
The likely salary range for this position is $121,975 – $165,025. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
