Facilities Operations Management careers are challenging! But you get results. Sodexo seeks an innovative Director of Facilities Operations to support integrated facilities at Claflin College, in Orangeburg, SC . Five years of director experience in fully integrated facilities management in a complex, multi-building occupied space environment is required. Experience working in an HBCU is preferred. HIGH SALARY and ANNUAL BONUS and Relocation Assistance. Our successful candidate will lead and inspire our team on Sodexo's mission to provide quality facilities services and work within the smalltown culture to manage Maintenance, Environmental Services and Grounds for 30+ buildings across campus. What You'll Do
- Provide direction and guidance to the Facilities team of managers and employees
- Maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship with our client partners
- Manage day-to-day facilities account responsibilities, including overall planning, strategic innovation and implementation of the campus plan, achieving operations and financial goals
- Manage IFM operations including Maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, repair, Project Management, Environmental Services, Grounds and Landscaping
- Provide strong strategic senior level Facilities Operations leadership while influencing C‑Suite level clients on all matters relating to contract and account operations

What You Bring
- Senior level direction for all major Facilities projects
- Management and implementation of the University's Master Plan
- The ability to interview, train and develop staff timely to assure succession planning
- Demonstrated history of enhancing facilities goals and objectives, allocating resources, controlling operating expenses, and ensuring efficient operation of all departmental functions
- Experience leading renovation and construction projects and coordinating and engaging architects and structural engineers
- Experience managing operating expenses, construction projects, major renewal and replacement projects securing funding
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Education Requirement – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
- Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years
