We are looking for a strong news writer/editor with sharp journalism skills. The ideal candidate is a seasoned news pro with an eye for detail, a great attitude, and a willingness to "do what it takes" to get the job done. This is an in‑house Phoenix position and cannot be done from another location. Please be willing and ready to commit to shift work (nights, weekends, holidays). This is most likely an overnight position to start.

What You’ll Do

Proof reading, writing and editing news copy.

Posting content to various platforms.

Audio editing.

Assignment planning.

General newsroom responsibilities.

What You’ll Need

5+ years of newsroom experience.

Highly efficient writing skills.

Copy editing background.

Ability to work from our downtown Phoenix newsroom.

Digital audio skills.
