Full Time

About Trove
Trove Tourism Development Advisors is a boutique global tourism consultancy and destination marketing agency headquartered in New York City, with an office in London. We partner with tourism boards, convention bureaus, and destination organizations around the world to grow visitation and economic impact—integrating destination marketing, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) strategy, sales representation, economic impact analysis, and community‑based tourism development under one roof.

Our clients span the Caribbean, the Pacific, Asia, the Middle East, and beyond, and our work ranges from full‑service marketing and trade representation to strategy, research, and on‑the‑ground activation. We’re a small, senior, fast‑moving team where you’ll have real ownership and direct client exposure from day one.

The Role
We’re looking for a Meetings Marketing & Sales Specialist to join our Meetings & Leisure marketing and sales team. In this role you’ll help destinations win more group and MICE business—building and executing marketing campaigns, driving sales outreach to buyers, planning and staffing events, and managing relationships across the full MICE ecosystem.

This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role that blends marketing execution with proactive sales. If you love the meetings and events world, know the players, and can move fluidly between building a campaign and working a trade show floor, this is for you.

What You’ll Do

MICE marketing campaigns - Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that position our destination clients as premier meetings, incentives, and events destinations across paid, earned, owned, and trade channels.

Sales outreach & lead generation - Run proactive B2B sales outreach to meeting planners, associations, and incentive buyers; build and manage prospect pipelines; qualify leads; and coordinate follow‑up to convert interest into site visits and booked business.

Events & trade shows - Plan, coordinate, and staff client presence at industry trade shows, roadshows, sales missions, familiarization (FAM) trips, and client‑hosted events (e.g., IMEX, IBTM, MPI, PCMA, ASAE, and similar).

Stakeholder engagement - Build and maintain relationships across the MICE supply and demand sides (see below), serving as a connector between our destination clients and the buyers and partners who drive group business.

Content & collateral - Develop sales decks, one‑pagers, RFP responses, e‑newsletters, and campaign assets that speak the language of meeting professionals.

Reporting & pipeline management - Track outreach, leads, and campaign performance; maintain CRM records; and report results and insights back to clients.

Market intelligence - Monitor MICE industry trends, competitor destinations, and buyer needs to sharpen our clients’ positioning.
