Early Childhood Educator – Teacher (San Diego, CA)

What Your Day Is Like
You provide a secure, nurturing classroom where toddlers feel safe to learn, explore, and express themselves. You implement thoughtfully planned activities that support early language, motor, social, and cognitive development. You guide children through emotional growth by modeling positive interactions and encouraging cooperation and independence. You manage care routines, including meals, diapering, naps, and transitions, while reinforcing self‑help skills. You maintain strong communication with families and coworkers by sharing updates, documenting milestones, and working collaboratively to support each child's progress.

Qualifications
Required :

Completion of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, including core courses in child development, from an accredited college.

At least 6 months of experience working with young children.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Ability to work 8:00 am–5:00 pm or 7:00 am–4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Preferred :

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development.

1+ year of experience working with toddlers (ages 18–36 months).

Infant/Toddler specialization or additional ECE units focused on this age group.

Strong classroom management and curriculum planning experience.
