Position Summary
Nuuvia is redefining youth and family banking by helping financial institutions build lifelong relationships with the next generation of account holders. As we scale, we are building a marketing organization that turns that mission into category leadership, demand generation, and lasting client adoption across credit unions and community banks.

The VP, Marketing will own Nuuvia’s marketing function end to end — the full scope of brand, demand generation, PR, content, events, and marketing operations. This is a player‑coach role: you will set strategy, run point with the executive team and board, and also write the email, build the deck, and run the campaign yourself when the calendar demands it.

The successful candidate combines sharp strategic judgment with a genuine willingness to execute personally. This individual will build Nuuvia’s pipeline engine, establish Nuuvia as the category authority in youth and lifecycle banking, and grow a small, high‑output team as the company scales toward its next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Build on Nuuvia’s established brand voice and visual identity — sharpening messaging and positioning as we continue scaling the business, rather than building brand from scratch.

Establish Nuuvia as the industry authority on youth banking, intelligent family banking, and lifecycle banking through media, conferences, and thought leadership.

Translate the platform and articulate a strong narrative FI executives act on.

Own Nuuvia’s PR strategy, media relationships, and editorial calendar, including coordination with outside PR agency support.

Develop executive thought leadership — articles, presentations, and speaking opportunities — on behalf of Nuuvia’s leadership team.

Secure media coverage across fintech, credit union, and community banking publications, and report on earned media reach and share of voice.

Build and run the digital demand‑gen engine — LinkedIn, Google Search, retargeting, and industry media — architected around Nuuvia’s pipeline targets and buyer personas.

Write and ship core marketing assets yourself — landing pages, nurture emails, one‑pagers, case studies — when there’s no one else free to do it.

Own campaign performance reporting: cost per lead, conversion rates, and marketing’s contribution to pipeline.

Own HubSpot Marketing Hub end to end — lead nurture workflows, landing pages, automation, attribution, and reporting.

Build and maintain the executive marketing dashboard that tracks funnel productivity and pipeline conversion for leadership and the board.

Own the GTM Playbook and client asset library, and mentor and manage the GTM Account Manager who supports client‑facing marketing needs.

Direct sales collateral and creative production, ensuring every asset ships on‑brand and on‑deadline.

Own the content calendar and organic social presence, including copywriting support for executive LinkedIn accounts.

Own the annual event plan — exhibitor strategy, speaking opportunities, and attendance planning in partnership with sales leadership.

Represent Nuuvia at credit union and community banking industry events, occasionally staffing the booth and working the room personally.

Own nuuvia.com content and SEO — blog posts, case studies, and page updates that position Nuuvia as the go‑to source for youth banking insight.

Build a lean team to start — a couple of specialty contractors for PR and web/digital support, plus one additional marketing hire — growing headcount as we acquire new FI customers.

Sit close to the CEO and sales leadership on positioning and partner narratives, and deliver regular marketing updates to leadership and the board.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

12+ years of B2B marketing experience, including meaningful time inside an early‑ or growth‑stage company where “there’s no team for that yet” was a regular sentence.

Experience marketing to financial institutions and the relationship‑driven B2B buyer — credit unions and community banks strongly preferred.

Prior ownership of a full marketing function — brand, demand generation, PR, content, and marketing operations — ideally as a Head of Marketing.

Working knowledge of HubSpot Marketing Hub, paid digital advertising (LinkedIn, Google), and marketing attribution and reporting.

A track record of setting strategy and personally executing it — you’ve built the plan and you’ve also stayed late to ship it.

Experience building or scaling a marketing team, including hiring and managing marketing or GTM support staff.

Sharp, confident writing, consistent with Nuuvia’s direct, personable, jargon‑free voice.

Genuine comfort with ambiguity. You bring the process; you don’t wait for someone to hand it to you.
