Senior PHP Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our growing engineering team.

You will work on critical backend systems related to large-scale data processing, search infrastructure, and third‑party integrations. This role involves solving complex engineering challenges around scalability, data accuracy, performance optimization, and processing large datasets from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend systems using PHP 8.x

Optimize performance across large datasets

Design and manage scalable database architecture

Integrate external APIs and data feeds

Collaborate with frontend engineers and product teams

Improve reliability and speed of backend systems

Requirements

4+ years of professional PHP development experience

Strong knowledge of Laravel or Symfony

Solid understanding of OOP, MVC, and SOLID principles

Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL

Familiarity with Redis, Docker, and CI/CD workflows

Strong problem‑solving skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

Experience with large‑scale data ingestion systems

Experience with search platforms or public records systems

Familiarity with distributed systems and performance tuning
