Scholarly Acquisitions Editor

Wayne State University is seeking an Acquisitions Editor for its Detroit campus. The role focuses on identifying, acquiring and developing publication rights for books, journals and series to support Wayne State University Press.
You will build relationships with authors and editors, evaluate manuscripts, prepare proposals and coordinate with editorial boards through production. This on-site role requires strong communication, editing and project-management skills.
