VP, Affiliation Consultant

The VP, Affiliation Consultant serves as a senior strategic leader and trusted advisor to financial advisors evaluating their long-term affiliation with LPL. This role owns the firm's most complex, high-value conversion opportunities and materially contributes to LPL’s organic growth strategy and broader corporate development priorities. As a senior member of the team, this VP leads executive-level engagements, shapes go-to-market strategy, and influences outcomes across a diverse stakeholder landscape. Success requires a combination of deep industry expertise, enterprise selling capability, and the ability to drive alignment across advisors, field leadership, and internal partners.
Responsibilities

Own and drive a portfolio of large, complex affiliation opportunities, from origination through close
Lead executive-level, consultative engagements with advisors and enterprise clients, aligning LPL solutions to long-term strategic objectives
Serve as a thought partner on affiliation strategy, including platform positioning, deal structuring, and competitive differentiation
Maintain deep expertise in LPL affiliation models, capabilities, and forward roadmap; translate into compelling value propositions
Partner cross-functionally with senior leaders across the firm to design and deliver tailored, scalable solutions
Influence and support broader business development strategy, including pipeline strategy, market targeting, and program evolution
Drive accountability for outcomes, including revenue contribution, conversion rates, and strategic client wins
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
10+ years of experience in the independent broker-dealer or wealth management space
Demonstrated success leading complex, high-value sales or affiliation conversions
Deep expertise in advisor business models and affiliation structures
Strong proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools
Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
Advanced consultative selling and negotiation skills
Strong financial and strategic acumen
Ability to navigate and lead through complexity
Exceptional communication and storytelling capabilities

Pay Range

179,200.00 - 298,650.00 (salary range inclusive of base salary and potential sales incentive compensation based upon the applicable incentive compensation plan for this position. Base salary is determined on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Incentive compensation is dependent on achievement of goals set forth in the incentive compensation plan.)
