Musician Soprano Singer

Overview

Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church located in Carefree, Arizona is looking to hire a skilled, experienced Soprano to sing for weekend and holy day masses throughout the liturgical year. This position is for two masses a weekend. The ideal candidate is proficient in sight reading music, playing a variety of musical styles, following direction of the music leader and working well with cantors.
Responsibilities

Sing at two weekend masses throughout the liturgical year
Follow direction of the music leader and collaborate with cantors
Perform in church services including holy day masses
Qualifications

Proficient in sight reading music
Ability to play a variety of musical styles
Ability to follow direction of the music leader
Ability to work well with cantors
Compensation

Pay is $110 per mass; additional income opportunities available with funeral masses and weddings.
