Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead complex VDC efforts, drive innovation, and provide technical guidance across projects:
Lead the development and coordination of complex electrical models across multiple projects and project phases
Establish, implement, and continuously improve BIM standards, templates, and best practices across teams
Drive efficiency through advanced modeling techniques, automation, and workflow optimization
Oversee and lead clash detection and coordination efforts across all trades, ensuring timely resolution of conflicts
Serve as the primary VDC point of contact for project management, field leadership, and external partners
Provide high-level troubleshooting for complex modeling, coordination, and software challenges
Develop and refine prefabrication models, assemblies, and installation strategies to support field productivity
Mentor, coach, and develop VDC team members, providing technical oversight and guidance
Contribute to company-wide VDC strategy, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
Identify risks, design gaps, and constructability challenges early, and proactively drive solutions
Qualifications
We are seeking highly experienced candidates with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities:
Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
Deep expertise in BIM/VDC workflows, multi-trade coordination, and large-scale model management
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems across multiple voltage levels and project types
Proven ability to independently interpret and apply one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and complex design documents
Advanced knowledge of NEC requirements and their practical application, including clearances, conduit fill, and derating
Thorough understanding of grounding and bonding systems
Advanced knowledge of conduit routing, electrical room layout, and constructability best practices
Ability to identify design deficiencies and propose solutions based on code requirements and field installation methods
Experience leading coordination efforts and mentoring team members
Minimum 3-5 years\' experience in a comparable role.
