Communications Technician II: Vehicle Electronics & Video Systems

County of Orange is seeking a Communications Technician II in the Technical Services Unit to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic equipment, and to install electronics in public safety vehicles and buildings. The role includes radio programming, video system setup, and support for ambulances’ certifications.
The candidate will read and interpret schematics and blueprints, use test equipment, and collaborate with county staff and vendors to ensure reliable communications infrastructure.
