Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph Systems, Electronics and Controls is a leading independent aerospace system supplier for the commercial and military helicopter and business jet markets and employs approximately 500 employees. The Company's key products and services include electronic engine controls, fuel metering units, main fuel pumps and environmental control systems for both the OE and aftermarket/spares end markets.
Responsibilities

This role supports technical and producibility reviews at supplier locations and Triumph sites as required, ensuring high-quality, manufacturable casting solutions. Responsibilities Include:
Design reviews with Engineering and Suppliers
Cast source selection and capabilities to manufacture product
Provide inputs to cast design guides
Advise on material selection and cast method
Drawing reviews, including tolerancing and GD&T recommendations
Quality/producibility review (i.e. Pressure Test, NDT inspection, Weld Repair…etc.)
Support Material Review Board (MRB) decisions
Support Triumph Work Transfers as assigned
Evaluate new cast sources and their capability
Review tooling, tooling condition/life of tool
Review process sheets
Review part complexity
Conduct conformity reviews onsite at the supplier or Triumph site
Technical assessments of design and process
Qualifications

B.S/M.S. in Mechanical Engineering Degree Preferred Aerospace experience required Ability to travel up to 40%
