Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, Business Management, you will represent your respective Executive Managing Director (EMD) or executive desk head with the accountability to enable smooth day‑to‑day business operations as well as partner in supporting the execution of business strategy. As an extension of your EMD or executive desk head, you will act as a singular point of contact with authority to lead strategic initiatives, working closely with multiple stakeholders to assess and acknowledge opportunities, challenges and competitive perspectives that serve to grow our business.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day‑to‑day business operations, working closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure projects, initiatives and processes address both immediate business needs as well as long‑term strategic priorities.
Represent the EMD or executive desk head on all matters related to business strategy.
Consolidate desk needs and objectives into a strategic view with a clear set of priorities that can be easily communicated and understood.
Be the main point of contact for Infrastructure and other Dealer and enterprise stakeholders for program and initiative prioritization, including product roadmaps and end‑of‑life decisioning.
Seek to identify critical intersection points to ensure business practices and decisions fully consider end‑to‑end perspectives globally.
Partner with the VP, Business Programs to ensure colleague experience is appropriately captured as part of business strategy.
Lead the performance planning process for the EMD or executive desk head.
Assist in setting comprehensive goals for measuring performance, growth and colleague experience.
Partner with Finance to ensure measurement is consistent with and complementary to segment‑level scorecard practices.
Ensure both cash and P& L view (management reporting and Front Office flash) is understood and managed.
Review and approve all project and FCP funding vehicle allocations.
Manage and track all revenue and cost sharing agreements as well as expense allocations to the business.
Develop workflows that are built for scale, efficiency and sustainability, with a focus on aligning product development across trading platforms and simplifying global distribution channels.
Work with partners across the Dealer and in support and control functions to assess the regulatory impact to business programs and operations.
Collaborate with business manager colleagues to ensure cross‑business consistency and efficiency of process delivery and execution, ensuring that best practices are identified and leveraged.
Provide business insight and input as required for presentations to senior management, Board, and other internal and external stakeholders.
As required, represent the EMD or executive desk head in key industry forums that support knowledge sharing, relationship management and brand building.
Depth & Scope

Oversees the development and execution of strategic planning for unit; oversees program and project level forecasting and tracking; directs the communication of financial policies and procedures; manages monthly forecasting and client chargeback process; oversees the annual budget process; manages the headcount/resource process; leads and oversees the end‑to‑end delivery of requirements throughout the lifecycle of large scale/complex projects or programs requiring a cohesive approach to broad business solutions with full traceability to realize project benefits; provides advisory support, leadership direction and guidance to assigned Business Analyst resources, stakeholders and executives of the projects and/or program across multiple Lines of Business (LoB).
Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience in addition to a minimum of 7+ years of related experience.
Strong project management skills.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills in particular Excel.
Presentation skills required.
Strong team player who can work in cross‑organization situations.
Highly effective written and oral communication skills; excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Deep desk‑ and product‑specific knowledge, including prior experience working on a trading desk or in a complementary role.
Strong knowledge of TDS, across front office and infrastructure, including on governance practices and policies, new product process and change management.
A proactive, energetic and entrepreneurial leadership style.
Excel in operating in a constantly changing environment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, consulting, teamwork and leadership skills.
Ability to effectively manage numerous projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical thinking and ability to analyze trends with data and key metrics to propose recommendations.
Experience in navigating complex projects in a large organization including technology innovation or regulatory with ability to communicate impact, influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups.
