About the Role
We are looking for someone who can perform quality work and meet deadlines with or without direct supervision. They will need to interact professionally with other employees and customers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations. If you have solid computer and design skills and an ability to learn, we will teach you what we need you to know.

Responsibilities

Coordinating all activities for development and accuracy of new or revised technical publications, including operator manuals, maintenance manuals, equipment specifications, repair parts lists and miscellaneous other instructional literature.

Prepare creative designs, photos or related drawings or details; uses designs to develop specifications or estimates of materials needed for a project.

Drafting duties required, involving new and revised prints using AutoCAD and 3-D AutoDesk Inventor

May be responsible for sending out new product releases and ECN’s to fulfillment, purchasing and outside vendors

Update and maintain existing documentation

All other duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements

Associates Degree or higher preferred

2+ years of in design/drafting or technical writing experience

High level of mechanical aptitude

Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and logically

Strong knowledge of the English language including rules and usage

Strong research skills including gathering and analysing data from multiple sources (subject matter experts, product managers)

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Excellent project management skills with ability to balance multiple short and long-term projects

18 Years or older

Eligible to work in the United States

Preferred

Experience in desktop publishing, screen capture, graphics modification, and using common authoring tools such as Adobe Acrobat and MS Office

Experience with the latest releases of AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor programs

Location & Commitments

Pay range of $48,000 - $60,000

Health, Dental & Vision insurance available after 60 days of employment
