React Native Developer

Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled React Native Developer to join our team for an exciting long-term contract with one of our esteemed clients, based in Brentwood, TN, Richardson, TX, Dallas, TX onsite (Locals only).

About the Role
As a Technology Consultant 2 (React Native Developer), you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android. You will own the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)—from requirements elicitation and technical design to hands‑on coding, testing, and DevOps deployment. We are seeking a proactive, self‑directed professional who can seamlessly bridge the gap between technical execution and business requirements while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams and clients.

Responsibilities

Requirements & Design: Document business requirements, facilitate software application design discussions, and translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.

Application Development: Write clean, stable code to integrate new features or updates into existing mobile applications.

Code Quality & Governance: Conduct rigorous peer code reviews, engage in pair programming, manage code repositories, and maintain detailed documentation to enrich the team's knowledge base.

Testing & QA: Implement robust test strategies, utilize performance testing tools, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to maintain strict software quality and mobile security standards.

DevOps & Deployment: Take ownership of mobile application packaging, deployment, and continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines.

Support & Operations: Actively resolve production issues, recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability, and develop user training programs for smooth software transitions.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. (We will also consider 3 years of progressive specialty experience in lieu of every 1 year of formal education).

Required Skills

Core Experience: Demonstrated professional experience in Information Technology with a strong focus on React Native.

Physical/Logistical: Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods, communicate seamlessly via phone/email/face-to-face, and travel/relocate as per project requirements.

Preferred Skills

Mobile Expertise: Deep knowledge of React Native components, libraries, framework upgrades, routing, SDKs, Dev Tools, debugging, and native modules for both iOS and Android.

Architecture & Feasibility: Ability to define cross‑platform solution options, evaluate technical feasibility, and provide accurate effort/risk estimates.

Integration: Proven experience integrating complex mobile front‑ends with back‑end APIs and microservices.

DevOps & Tools: Direct experience working within teams with DevOps responsibilities; proficient with version control (GitHub) and issue tracking (Jira).

Methodology: Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.

Soft Skills: A proven track record of being self‑directed, results‑oriented, and capable of achieving aggressive goals despite ambiguity and competing priorities.
