To support the Engineering Services Team, the remote Station Engineer will create substation drawing packages, including one-line and elevation drawings, while employing Lean manufacturing principles and troubleshooting production issues.
Key responsibilities
Create and review detailed electrical drawings and models using SolidWorks
Support capital projects aimed at improving safety, production efficiency, and quality
Analyze manufacturing methods and drive engineering-related changes to enhance quality and cost-effectiveness
Required qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in General Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
3-6 years of experience in engineering with a focus on design, development, or project management
Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools for design and analysis
Experience with issuing Engineering Change Notices and conducting quality checks on documentation
Demonstrated ability to lead process validation and pilot production activities
