Job Overview

Leidos, the implementor for the Ameren Illinois award‑winning Energy Efficiency Program, seeks a Junior Web and Graphic Designer. Under the leadership of the UX Web Manager, the Junior Web and Graphic Designer supports front‑end web design, user experience, and marketing collateral for the Energy Efficiency Program website.
Location

Ameren Illinois service territory (southern two‑thirds of Illinois). Preference for candidates located in this area.
Key Responsibilities

Support the UX Web Manager in front‑end web design elements.
Design website content, including web applications and plugins.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and new workflow support for website updates.
Customize front‑end site pages with customer branding.
Support data analytics as applicable.
Communicate effectively with all departments and the customer regarding system issues.
Work toward day‑to‑day objectives with website maintenance and updates.
Create engaging and informative webpages with the UX Web Manager.
Apply SEO and accessibility best practices in website design.
Maintain quality control of the website.
Collaborate with the Creative Team on graphic design marketing needs.
Follow brand guidelines in all design work.
Excel in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (maximum 2 years of relevant experience, or more experience in lieu of a degree).
General knowledge of web design and user interface modules.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with content management systems.
Adobe Suite experience (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Introductory knowledge of AI applications in design.
Strong organizational skills.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Compensation

Pay Range: $48,100.00 – $86,950.00.
