Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Territory Sales Manager is to grow the landscape contractor channel by converting non‑Kichler users and expanding the current LightPro contractor base. This role will implement sales strategies and report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities

Conduct calling efforts and product trainings at the contractor‑installer level to drive Pro conversion to Kichler.
Develop and grow market share of the current distribution network and seek out new opportunities through value‑added activities such as trainings, demo days, and product reviews.
Provide sales and market‑share growth leadership and results for contractor and distributor sales initiatives.
Conduct seminars and training programs as needed.
Conduct specification calls on Landscape Architects as required while traveling within the assigned geographical territory.
Manage relationships with existing pro contractors and sales representatives to continuously develop new lighting contractors.
Be responsible for overall sales growth within the region—including NJ, MD, DE, Eastern PA, NY (excluding the NewYork Metro and Long Island). The majority of time will be spent within a 150‑mile radius of Philadelphia, PA.
Manage the travel and expense budget; travel 4 of 5 days is generally required. Overnight travel and occasional nighttime demos are expected, and travel to other territories for team coverage may occur.
Use Salesforce CRM daily to outline customer visits and opportunities or threats within your territory.
Communicate updates to Kichler and field agents within 48 hours.
Education & Experience

College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Five years in the landscape lighting and/or irrigation industry preferred.
