What You’ll Do

Support clients in consumer media verticals such as spirits, entertainment, lifestyle, and consumer tech.

Curate media strategies for tentpoles and news engine plans, drive media coverage, draft press materials, pitch reporters, and develop relationships with key media contacts while collaborating with media and account teams.

Serve as the day‑to‑day client contact for earned media communications via email and calls.

Mentor junior team members on pitching, follow‑ups and relationship building.

Contribute to strategy recommendations through brainstorming and proactive, media‑first ideas.

Lead new business initiatives and identify organic growth opportunities within accounts.

Seek cross‑functional collaborations and propose real‑time ideas and new approaches to elevate our work.

Provide deep insight into trends, the competitive landscape, and customer business.

Staff media events and liaise with and host media contacts on‑site.

What You’ll Bring

5‑6 years of earned media experience on the agency side.

Bachelor’s degree.

Deep understanding of earned media relations and relationships with key contacts across a range of industries.

Awareness of GEO, AI, and emerging media platforms.

Ability to work independently and multi‑task in a team‑oriented environment.

Creative, strategic thinking skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Positive, flexible attitude.

Solution‑oriented mindset.

Advanced writing, editing and research ability.

Salary: $81,000 – $100,000 per year.

Location
Remote or in the New York office.

Flexible Work Policy
In‑person collaboration is valued. Hybrid work is recommended for those in the NYC hub – 2 days per week in person, in our office or a client location. For those outside the hub, in‑person meetings may be required at client sites or events. Remote candidates may be considered from a list of eligible states.
