About the Role
Furniture Mart is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Non-CDL Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team in Gretna, LA! This is a great opportunity to be the face of our brand, delivering quality furniture and exceptional service directly to our customers' homes. Responsibilities

Load, transport, and deliver furniture to residential customers

Safely operate a non-CDL delivery vehicle in compliance with all traffic and safety regulations

Assist with in-home furniture placement, assembly, and setup as needed

Inspect deliveries for damage and ensure items match customer orders before drop-off

Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery windows, instructions, and concerns

Complete delivery documentation, logs, and electronic confirmations accurately

Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of delivery vehicle and equipment

Requirements

Valid Chauffeur’s license with a clean driving record (no CDL required)

Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture items (50–100+ lbs) with a team partner

Prior delivery, moving, or logistics experience preferred

Strong customer service and communication skills

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic

Ability to navigate local routes using GPS or map applications

Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment screening
