Role Summary

As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you live your power by supporting the world class CorePower Yoga studio experience including coordinating studio operations and holding the studio to the highest health and safety standards. In alignment with our Core Values, you work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth towards all current company and studio-level goals. In the SC role, you will learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio.

Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience

Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others.
Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
Commit to flexible schedule of 18‑29 hours per week in studio in support of operations coordination and teaching (if certified), including health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support.
Must be flexible with schedule availability within the hourly commitment in service of the studio and team.
Responsibly run the studio, including acting as the point of contact for students and staff when Studio Manager is not present, up to 20 hours per week.
Support maintaining an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities are available for students at all times (cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, programming materials, etc.).
Engage and know your studio community consistently; greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga both inside and outside of the studio, and spend quality time at the front desk fostering community.
Support our teachers’ learning experience of working the POS and other pre/post class duties.
Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol in the Studio

Uphold high standards for the studio and when on duty, ensure that the physical studio space meets the high CPY standards of cleanliness and functionality (safe environment, optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and clean and clutter‑free surroundings).
Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit at CPY.
Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring the CPY cleanliness protocol is always followed while on duty.
Support the SET team by interviewing SET applicants, hiring SET employees, scheduling SET employees’ shifts, stepping in for no‑call
o‑shows, training, and disciplining/terminating SET employees who have violated CPY’s policies and standards.
Lead orientation for new Studio Experience Team members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations.
Coordinate Studio Systems

Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams in training, communicating, and coordinating studio operational systems such as:
Point of Sales System (POS) – navigate POS to sign students in, sell packages and memberships, and resolve student account issues.
Online Reservation System – support administrative follow‑up of late cancellation fees, waitlists, student support, etc.
Subbing Application – support training and usage for the teaching team.
HRIS Application – support training and usage for teaching and SET teams.
Help Desk – submit facilities tickets and communicate follow‑up needs to Studio Manager.
Teaching Schedule

Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 branded CorePower Yoga classes per week and subbing additional classes as needed.
Skills & Experience

Excellent oral communication, professionalism, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Experience in customer service required.
Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200‑hour program is preferred.
Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred.
Familiarity and comfort with studio systems such as HRIS, intranet, POS, scheduling, and payroll systems.
Ability to build relationships with diverse personalities at different levels of seniority.
Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines.
Proven self‑starter with enthusiasm for new projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Excellent time‑management skills and initiative.
College (BA/BS) preferred.
The Fine Print

Must meet the business and leadership zig‑zag schedule requirements – morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday availability and flexibility.
Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25lbs.
If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach a class with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio.
Compensation

$21.25 per hour.
