Remote, part‑time position located in Jacksonville, FL. Photographers typically work 10–20 hours per week, with additional hours possible during peak demand.
About the role

As a Photographer supporting Zillow Media Experts and our Listing Media Services, you will capture high‑quality still photography, listing videos, 3D or 360° virtual tours, drone photography & videos (as business needs dictate), and social media videos for for‑sale or for‑rent properties. You will use advanced equipment and proprietary technology to showcase each property’s unique features while ensuring brand consistency and delivering media on time.
Responsibilities

Capture industry‑leading still photography, listing videos, 3D or 360° virtual tours, drone photography & videos, and social media videos.
Utilize advanced photography techniques and equipment to highlight unique property features.
Coordinate and interact with clients on site to understand their photography needs and expectations.
Provide guidance and direction to clients and property owners during photography sessions to achieve desired results.
Use proprietary technology to create rich media experiences.
Ensure photographs adhere to brand guidelines and represent properties accurately.
Maintain and manage photography equipment for optimal performance.
Organize and upload captured media for post‑processing, meeting all deadlines and appointment punctuality.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in real estate photography.
Develop creative concepts and ideas for photography to showcase each property’s selling points.
Collaborate with regional managers, market leaders, photographers, real estate agents, and marketing professionals to deliver cohesive visual assets.
Adapt to future media, product, service, capture, or processing changes.
Represent Zillow Media Experts professionally.
Qualifications

Experience capturing high‑quality photography, preferably in real estate, including exterior and interior photos, videos, 3D tours, and drone media.
Deep understanding of photography fundamentals using DSLR or mirrorless systems.
Excellent customer service and professional communication skills.
Detail‑oriented, punctual, and independent worker capable of solo operations.
Ability to learn Zillow Media Expert processes and computer systems.
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive within a 60+ mile radius of Jacksonville.
Minimum availability of 20 hours per week.
Internet upload speed of at least 15 Mbps preferred.
Can obtain FAA Part 107 drone license if required by business need.
Required Equipment

Professional full‑frame or crop‑sensor DSLR/mirrorless camera capable of 5‑bracket AEB shooting (e.g., Canon R7, R5, 6D‑mkII, 5D‑mkIV).
Wide‑angle lens (Full‑frame: 15–35mm, Crop: 10–22mm).
Ball head or geared head tripod (video fluid head tripods not acceptable).
Reliable transportation for field work.
Footprint: capacity to provide a minimum of 20 hours per week of availability.
Internet upload speed of at least 15 Mbps is strongly preferred.
Salary Information

Hourly base rates vary by state. For example, in Florida the range is $24.10–$38.50 per hour, while in Colorado the range is $22.90–$36.50 per hour. Incentive compensation is also available.
