The Mount Tech is a rapidly growing Audio/Video Intergrator and Smart Home technology company serving East Texas. We specialize in TV installations, home theaters, whole-home audio, networking, security cameras, outdoor entertainment, motorized shades, and commercial AV systems.

AV Lead Technician Requirements

3-5 years of professional Audio/Video, Home Theater, or Low Voltage installation experience

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Experience with TV mounting, home theaters, distributed audio, networking, and security cameras

Ability to read installation plans and follow company standards

Excellent cable management and attention to detail

Professional appearance and strong customer service skills

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work safely on ladders

Preferred Experience

8 ohms/70 volt systems

Ubiquiti or Araknis networking

URC, Control4, Lutron, or similar automation systems

Rack building and structured wiring

Commercial AV installations

AV Helper Requirements

Low-voltage, wiring, construction, electrical, or handyman experience is preferred but not required

Willingness to learn and grow in the Audio/Video industry

Comfortable using hand and power tools

Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Dependable transportation

Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders

Schedule

Full-Time

Monday-Friday

Occasional overtime

Some Saturdays as needed

Travel throughout East Texas for installations
