Position Overview
Role: Employee Experience & Engagement Specialist – a 32‑hour‑per‑week temporary position through September212026. Reports to Senior Employee Experience & Brand Manager. Location: Hybrid – Preston, WA office 3+ days a week and on‑site at events as needed. Hourly rate: $51.00–$58.00. Note: New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, with possible higher based on experience, internal equity, and market.
Key Responsibilities
Design, manage, and execute an annual rhythm of employee experience initiatives, collaborating with the CE&E leadership team.
Lead campus events and experiences with CE&E leadership, Business Coordinators, and facilities teams.
Champion diversity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives through storytelling and as a member of the Rain Maker Inclusivity Council.
Manage the Rain Maker101 onboarding program, coordinating presenters, scheduling, scripting, and activities for quarterly sessions.
Maintain the internal communications and events calendar, ensuring consistent storytelling aligned with company goals.
Create and maintain content on the intranet, IceBox Drive, campus signage, campus TV, flyers, and internal channels (Teams, intranet, email).
Provide copywriting, editing, and editorial support for internal channels and campaigns.
Partner with Talent Acquisition and People Operations to enhance the employer brand across LinkedIn, social media, and recruitment channels.
Produce branded materials for employee awareness, events, and community engagement in collaboration with creative teams.
Support additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience planning, building, and managing employee experiences, events, and activities in organizations with 450+ people and a wide geographic footprint.
7+ years of writing and editorial experience, preferably in corporate communications, PR, or employer branding.
Strong proficiency in project and program management, able to plan and execute complex programs independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – clear communicator and collaborator.
Strong organization and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Canva, and Trello.
Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Ability to travel locally or regionally as needed for special assignments.
