Transmission Line Design Engineer

Seeking a full-time Design Transmission Line Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for designing high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD software, collaborating with project teams, and developing construction documents, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities

Facilitate collaboration between disciplines and project team members while acting as a client contact to determine project scope
Develop construction documents, including project design criteria, plan and profile drawings, and specifications for transmission lines
Coordinate design aspects of projects, estimate construction costs, and specify materials

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school
Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience, with at least 1 year in Transmission Line Engineering or related field
EIT certification required; ability to obtain PE licensure within 2 years preferred
Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred
Previous experience working with or for a Utility is highly preferred
