The Account Specialist II partners closely with Producers, Account Managers, and internal service teams to support Construction Specialty Group accounts. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality service while developing deeper technical and industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities

Provide consistent, timely, and accurate service to internal and external clients
Receive and respond to client and prospect inquiries; assist with quoting coverages when applicable
Create and distribute certificates of insurance and other policy documentation
Follow up on incomplete applications and change requests
Support new business and renewal processes, including preparation of renewal materials
Assist with policy delivery and meet established turnaround expectations
Coordinate invoicing and support resolution of account discrepancies
Attend internal meetings, client meetings, and market discussions as needed
Manage deadlines and organize work to ensure accuracy and completion
Continue to build industry knowledge through training, CE, and expanded responsibilities
Support department projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year degree preferred
Prior insurance industry experience preferred
At least one year of customer service experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook; basic PowerPoint)
