Stay close to the competitive landscape and understand how peers in payments and e‑commerce solve similar problems.
Qualifications
Minimum 5years of UX/product design experience with a portfolio showing strong craft and clear thinking on complex products.
Grounding in payments, fintech, banking, or a comparable complex ecosystem; an understanding that financial products carry real stakes for real people.
Strong visual design sensibility: typography, layout, hierarchy, interaction detail, and a commitment to quality.
Proficiency in Figma and comfortable with prototyping and usability testing tools.
Clear communicator in design reviews, documentation, and with non‑design partners.
Self‑directed, managing own workstream, asking good questions, and taking initiative.
Collaborative and receptive to feedback, holding a point of view lightly.
Preferred: Hands‑on experience with payment flows, checkout UX, or identity verification products.
Familiarity with payment rails, design systems or UX standards documentation.
Bonus: Webflow or front‑end familiarity (HTML/CSS) and experience with usability testing tools such as UserTesting, Maze, or Lookback.
