Role Description
The Global Campaign Project Manager is a dedicated project management role responsible for planning, coordinating, tracking, and governing marketing initiatives across the SMB Marketing organization. This position does not own campaign strategy, audience planning, activation, channel execution, campaign performance, or optimization. Instead, the role serves as the operational backbone of the organization by ensuring projects are properly planned, resourced, tracked, and delivered according to agreed timelines and priorities. The Global Campaign Project Manager works closely with various teams to ensure alignment across all workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
Develop project plans for approved marketing initiatives and campaigns
Create and maintain project schedules, timelines, milestones, and dependencies
Coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure work progresses according to plan
Facilitate project kickoffs, planning meetings, status meetings, and stakeholder reviews
Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership
Ensure project documentation remains accurate and current throughout the project lifecycle
Dependency Management
Identify and manage dependencies across teams, systems, vendors, and stakeholders
Coordinate handoffs between functional teams
Proactively identify bottlenecks and risks that could impact project timelines
Escalate issues and facilitate resolution when projects encounter obstacles
Support leadership in making informed prioritization and resource decisions
Project Governance & Reporting
Maintain project status reports, dashboards, RAID logs, and executive updates
Ensure projects follow established governance processes and approval workflows
Monitor project health and provide visibility into schedule performance, risks, and resource impacts
Support leadership reporting and portfolio reviews
Establish consistency in project management standards, templates, and operating procedures
Work Management Governance (Wrike)
Serve as the primary owner of project visibility and governance within Wrike
Ensure all projects, initiatives, enhancements, operational activities, and campaign-related work are logged and maintained within Wrike
Drive adoption and compliance with established work management processes
Ensure project plans, timelines, statuses, and assignments remain accurate and current
Maintain portfolio-level visibility into active work across SMB Marketing
Support reporting and dashboard development to improve transparency and decision-making
Resource Management & Capacity Planning
Monitor team capacity, workload distribution, and resource utilization across SMB Marketing
Partner with team leaders to identify resource constraints and workload imbalances
Ensure time tracking is completed accurately and consistently
Analyze utilization and workload data to support planning and forecasting activities
Provide leadership with visibility into team capacity, project demand, resource allocation, and delivery risks
Recommend adjustments to priorities, timelines, and resource assignments when capacity challenges arise
Operational Excellence
Support continuous improvement of project management processes and workflows
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, transparency, and collaboration across teams
Promote disciplined project management practices and accountability
Drive standardization of project intake, prioritization, planning, and reporting processes
Partner with Corporate Affairs Project Management teams to align best practices where appropriate
Qualifications
Experience in project management within a marketing environment
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management tools, particularly Wrike
Ability to work collaboratively across teams
Requirements
Proven experience in managing complex projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience in resource management and capacity planning
Familiarity with project governance and reporting processes
