Overseeing end-to-end P2P workflows, the remote full-time Director of Accounts Payable Operations will manage AP teams, drive process improvements, ensure compliance with financial controls, and maintain vendor relations.
Key responsibilities
Manage and develop a mid-to-large sized AP team, setting performance benchmarks and operational goals
Continuously evaluate and streamline AP policies and workflows to enhance organizational efficiency
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal audit, SOX requirements, and corporate disbursement policies
Required qualifications
15+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable, with 5+ years in a senior management or director-level role
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Expert knowledge of complex financial policies and modern e-payment environments
Experience with ERP implementations, particularly with systems like Success Factors and SAP
