Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager

Location: Independent Insurance Agency, Mesa, Arizona.
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Worksite: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) or remote, but must reside in Arizona.
Duration: Direct Hire.
Pay: $55,000 – $75,000 (depending on experience). Benefits: Full comprehensive benefits package offered.
Job Duties

Assist Client Managers and Producers in providing quality service to existing clients.
Prepare ACORD applications and submissions.
Assist with marketing, including pre-qualifying new business opportunities.
Prepare proposals for new and renewal business.
Bind renewals and new business as required.
Renew policies and process endorsements in the EPIC agency management system.
Request and gather pre-renewal information from clients.
Review, evaluate, and process policies for accuracy and compliance.
Manage activity follow‑ups (diaries, suspense items).
Develop and maintain knowledge of commercial lines coverage, forms, and rating.
Communicate with clients, underwriters, and carriers regarding coverage, claims, and policy updates.
Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of recent experience in Commercial Lines support, Assistant Account Manager, or similar role.
Active Arizona Property & Casualty license is required.
High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
Experience with EPIC is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
