Sales Coordinator

Focus to support the sales team. Updates manager by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily action summaries.

Essential Functions:
Inventory Reports
Intradepartmental open sales order reports
Order entry and reports
Daily point of contact
Inventory tracking and order release coordination
Set up sales meetings
Work order entry
Sales order review and approvals
Administrative support for Sales Manager and the team as needed
Other responsibilities as assigned

Essential Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree required (Business, Marketing, Engineering, Information Systems related).
Required Knowledge:
Previous experience in sales administration.
Required Experience:
One year of sales experience.
Skill and Ability:
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable and reliable.
Competency with Microsoft Office products and sales software.
Communication Skills:
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Finger Dexterity:
Use primarily for writing, operating calculator, telephone, keyboard and other office equipment.
Talking:
Ability to communicate with customers and fellow employees.
Hearing:
Ability to hear normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
Vision:
Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to observe others and work on computer.
Clear vision at 20 inches or less and distant vision at 20 feet or more
Physical Strength:
Sedentary work; sitting much of the time.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Movement such as standing, walking, and occasional bending or reaching is required.
Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
Sales Coordinator Working Conditions:
Ability to operate in an open work area with moderate everyday noise.
Ability to perform other duties as required.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
